Fast Technology News on April 19th: Recently, MediaTek quietly listed the Dimensity 6300 processor on its official website, positioning it as an entry-level chip.
In terms of specifications, the Dimensity 6300 is an octa-core processor, comprising 2 A76 big cores and 6 A55, with clock speeds of 2.4GHz and 2.0GHz, respectively.
The GPU is Mali G57 MC2, supporting up to LPDDR4x memory running at 2133MHz and UFS 2.2 flash storage, making it a relatively moderate configuration.
On other fronts, the Dimensity 6300 supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and a 1080P resolution, along with an ISP supporting static images of up to a hundred million pixels.
It also boasts dual-mode 5G and a maximum download speed of 3.3Gbps, while its Wi-Fi support goes up to Wi-Fi 5, which is relatively standard.
However, it might not be easy to encounter a new phone powered by this chip in China, as rumors suggest that the realme C65 will introduce a new 5G version, likely equipped with the Dimensity 6300 chip.
Nevertheless, this is primarily a new device geared towards overseas markets; hence, it might be challenging to find this chip in China.
