Introducing the New ASUS TUF Gaming A15 Series

On January 24th, the new generation ASUS TUF Gaming A15 series gaming laptops were launched on e-commerce platforms. The series includes four models with the following configurations and prices:

• Configuration 1: Ryzen 7 8845H + RTX4050 + 16GB + 512GB + Mystic Blue color, priced at 6799 yuan
• Configuration 2: Ryzen 9 8945H + RTX4060 + 16GB + 512GB + Eclipse Grey color, priced at 7499 yuan
• Configuration 3: Ryzen 9 8945H + RTX4060 + 16GB + 1TB + Mystic Blue color, priced at 7799 yuan
• Configuration 4: Ryzen 9 8945H + RTX4070 + 16GB + 1TB + Mystic Blue color, priced at 8799 yuan

The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 series is equipped with the new AMD Ryzen R7 8845H and R9 8945H processors. The R7 8845H processor features 8 cores, 16 threads, and a single-core MAX frequency of up to 5.1GHz. Meanwhile, the R9 8945H processor, also with 8 cores and 16 threads, boasts a single-core MAX frequency of up to 5.2GHz. Both processors utilize a 4nm advanced process technology and the Zen4 architecture, with approximately 60% improved NPU performance and the capability of delivering 80W high performance.

These gaming laptops come with two GPU options, RTX4050 and RTX4060. The RTX4050 features 2560 CUDA stream processors, a core frequency of 1.61GHz, boost frequency of 2.37GHz, and 6GB 96-bit GDDR6 memory. On the other hand, the RTX4060 comes with 3072 CUDA stream processors, a core frequency of 1.47GHz, boost frequency of 2.37GHz, and 8GB 128-bit GDDR6 memory. Both GPUs offer up to 2 times improved ray tracing performance and support 140W full performance release.

The laptops are equipped with a 15.6-inch high-resolution, high-refresh rate wide-color-gamut esports display with a resolution of 2560*1440 (2.5K). It supports a 165Hz high refresh rate, 3ms rapid response, DC dimming, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and features a built-in HD camera and dual-array microphone setup.

As for storage, they come with standard DDR5 5600MHz dual-channel high-frequency memory and PCIe 4.0 high-speed solid-state drives. With dual memory slots, they support a maximum of 64GB of memory and a reserved M.2 interface for easy expansion, supporting RAID 0.

In terms of cooling, the laptops feature the Glacier cooling system, with dual anti-dust fans, five heat pipes, and four exhaust vents. The D-shell adopts multiple air intake optimized air ducts, providing sufficient cooling airflow for more effective heat dissipation. It offers three cooling modes: silent, performance, and enhanced, allowing easy switching based on different usage scenarios.

With a built-in 90Wh high-capacity battery, accompanied by a 240W adapter, it can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes and supports 100W PD fast charging. The A-surface of the laptop is made of metal, approximately 22.45~24.95mm thick, weighing 2.1kg.

Featuring dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res certification, and two-way AI noise reduction for eliminating background noise during calls.

The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 series laptops are equipped with a combination of Ryzen 7/9 processors, RTX40 series GPUs, high-frequency DDR5 memory, and high-resolution high-refresh-rate esports screens, providing a well-balanced overall configuration with almost no weaknesses.
